Leave Us A Gift In Your Will
It costs more than £100,000 a year to run the Cat Hub and we cannot continue our vital work of rescuing and rehoming stray, abandoned and neglected cats without your help!
A gift in your Will to the RSPCA Cat Rehoming Hub will provide crucial funds.
You can do this by making a Will or by adding a Codicil (a document which specifies alterations to your Will). The RSPCA Cat Rehoming Hub is administered by the Darlington & District Branch which is a separately registered charity. All monies raised for the RSPCA Cat Rehoming Hub are held in a restricted fund by RSPCA Darlington & District Branch and used for the sole benefit of the Cat Hub.
So, if you would like to support our work, we would respectfully suggest that your legacy reads:
‘I give the sum of £….... (or specify a share of residue) to The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Darlington & District Branch (registered Charity no 232264) with the request but without creating a binding obligation or trust that the gift shall be used for the benefit of the RSPCA Cat Hub Project PROVIDED that in the event that the RSPCA Darlington and District Branch is no longer in existence at the date of my death for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Wilberforce Way Southwater Horsham West Sussex RH13 9RS (registered Charity no 219099) for the use and benefit of its work for the rehoming and welfare of cats in the North East area of England. I declare that the receipt of the Honorary Treasurer or other proper officer of the charity for the time being shall be a full and sufficient discharge for the said legacy.’
Please note that a Will or Codicil needs to be properly witnessed, and you should obtain legal advice.
Thank you!
